Light Shows to See

Amazing Light Shows

The Magic of Light Shows. (Photo Credits)

Ask any kid or kid at heart if they would like to watch a light show and chances are they would want to watch one.

This star wars themed light show for instance was featured over at someecards.com. Builders and Contractors

“Calling the crazy light show on this guy’s house “Christmas lights” is a bit of a stretch. It’s almost as if the holidays just happened to arrive as YouTuber Tom BetGeorge was put the finishing touches on his Star Wars Rock & Roll Light Show Extravaganza. Sure, there’s a large Christmas tree, but there’s also a drum kit in the driveway! The candy canes make sense, but look like they’ve been sidelined in order to make room for the giant, flaming guitar. The display has been featured twice on Good Morning America, as part of a contest called “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” but it could just as easily been a story about a technically gifted music fan who has lost the plot when it comes to both Christmas and Star Wars. Nice to look at, though.”

Let it go

Rare.US meantime featured this house that exhibited a frozen-themed light show as their house Christmas display. “One family from Austin, Texas wants everyone to ‘Let It Go’ this Christmas. The Storms, who have been putting together elaborate light shows since 2010, decided to go with the Frozen theme this year…It took three weekends to set up the more than 25,000 lights, but according to the Storms, it was well worth it.”

They achieve these amazing results with the help of projection mapping. In layman’s terms, that means lighted images are projected onto a white wedding cake. The animation appears to scroll down the tiers, adding a whimsical, oh-so-Disney touch to the celebration.” Electricians

The importance of Key rings and key holders. (Photo Credits)

Key rings and key holders are important objects that help us not to misplace one of the most important things we need in our daily lives – our keys. Whether we use it for our car, our pedestal, our home, or even our locker, keys are extremely important and losing it could be considered a critical mistake.

Instructables.com shared a unique and great way to ensure that you will know where your keys are once you decide to look for it.

“The first thing I say in the morning after ‘Coffee’s ready!’ is ‘Where’d my keys go?’ – it’s almost a ritual at this point, but at my expense! Key dishes are fine but my foyer isn’t really set up for a table, so an on-the-wall key holder is the way to go! Many of our projects are audio-based, so it seemed fitting to create a key holder out of audio jacks, and it looks good too!”

These keyrings featured over at CNN.com are getting controversial.

“Small fish, turtles and other amphibians are being sold in Beijing as mobile phone trinkets and key rings, to the chagrin of animal rights groups. Kept in bags filled with colored, oxygenated water the animals cost around $1.50 each. One vendor selling the animals outside of a Beijing subway station told CNN that the bag contained crystallized oxygen and nutrients. She said that that the animals could live for days but also warned that they should be freed from the bag as soon as the air ran out or they would suffocate. Among the animals being sold are young Chinese soft-shell turtles – the adult turtles are a popular dish in Chinese cooking. The live trinkets have been condemned by animal rights groups who have highlighted the lack of animal protection laws in China. ”

“Keys are common items in our lives. Keys have a very very strong meaning to each individual, a meaning that cannot be understood or interpreted correctly by nothing and no one, it is only the keeper that can determine its true value, its true meaning that transcends the value of materiality and appearance. Keys are not however the main protagonists in DIY projects usually, yes, they can be found in DIY valentine crafts or vintage design lines but in most cases they have a complementary role rather than a decisive one. This happens mainly because keys are not easy to find. Keys are discarded only when we change a lock, loose a padlock or simply find the keys lost by another individual and we have no method to refund it to its owner. However the interest in DIY key projects exists and the possibilities are beautifully infinite thanks to the mysterious nature of the key in its essence and thanks to their uniqueness.”

“How often do your kids watch TV while shoveling a snack into their mouths? Dr. Reynolds says that when they’re snacking and using electronics, food oils and crumbs are transferred to the electronic surfaces, which then become hospitable environments for germs. So while many of us are focused on keeping our kids healthy by feeding them apple slices or carrot sticks, we often forget what happens when their hands leave the plate and start touching everything else. Messy eating and playing with toys and gadgets – it’s all just another wonderful part of growing up.
